Trainer and Documentation Specialist (Consultant)

Objective:

The Trainer and Documentation Specialist will ensure all user-facing and technical documentation is clear, up to date, and aligned with platform functionality. They will lead training initiatives for government and community users to ensure successful onboarding and system use.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop user manuals, admin guides, and quick reference materials tailored to non-technical audiences.
  • Conduct training workshops for district-level administrators, civil servants, and other stakeholders.
  • Document technical workflows, system configurations, and API specifications for internal use.
  • Coordinate with developers to gather system updates and reflect them in documentation and training modules.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into accessible, visual, and engaging materials.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in software documentation and user training, ideally in government or public service contexts.
  • Proven ability to create clear, concise, and accessible instructional materials.
  • Strong facilitation skills and experience conducting user-centered training sessions.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Markdown, Google Workspace, and video recording/editing tools for tutorials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Khmer fluency preferred.
